Dental hygienist – A new position for when we’re done with an expansion and remodel finishing early next year.

Current hygiene days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.
Capability to add more time if wanted.

No weekends, holidays

Paid lunch (1/2 hr), breaks (2 x 15 min)

Uniform: black scrubs of your choice, allowance up to $250 / six months.

Forty hours of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days. If PTO remains at the end of the year, we will pay it to you.

Forty hours of sick time after 90 days are not redeemable at the end of the year.

If a holiday falls on a weekend, it will be provided for on either the Friday before or Monday after, whichever day the office is closed.

Position tasks include, but are not limited to:

patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and taking blood pressure and pulse
taking dental radiographs
removing calculus and plaque from all teeth surfaces
applying preventive materials to the teeth (sealants and fluorides)
teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling, etc.)
counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
performing documentation and office management activities
